Working Pattern: 37 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (Term-Time)
As a Behaviour Support Officer at The Bulwell Academy, you will:
- Provide compassionate and proactive support to students wellbeing.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Collaborate with staff and external agencies to address students diverse needs.
- The ability to positively influence and persuade students towards the school s vision, values and ethos, while modelling professional behaviour.
- Student-focused approach, recognizing the impact of educational achievement and managing behaviour in line with academy policies.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, use initiative, follow instructions, remain calm under pressure, and maintain a can do and will do attitude.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful recent experience working with young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new Therapeutic Reintegration Centre, The Bridge . The centre supports some of the most vulnerable students with a focus on academia and therapeutic support, using current research in Trauma Informed and Relational Practice to reintegrate students back into mainstream lessons.
