Working Pattern: 37 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (Term-Time)

As a Behaviour Support Officer at The Bulwell Academy, you will:

• Provide compassionate and proactive support to students  wellbeing.
• Foster a positive and inclusive school environment.
• Collaborate with staff and external agencies to address students  diverse needs.

• The ability to positively influence and persuade students towards the school s vision, values and ethos, while modelling professional behaviour.
• Student-focused approach, recognizing the impact of educational achievement and managing behaviour in line with academy policies.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, use initiative, follow instructions, remain calm under pressure, and maintain a  can do  and  will do  attitude.

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Successful recent experience working with young people.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new Therapeutic Reintegration Centre,  The Bridge . The centre supports some of the most vulnerable students with a focus on academia and therapeutic support, using current research in Trauma Informed and Relational Practice to reintegrate students back into mainstream lessons.
