Overview
Lecturer required in the Uniformed Services department to deliver teaching, learning and assessment in a further education setting. You will work with 16–18 year olds and 19+ cohorts, delivering accredited qualifications from Level 2 to Level 3. The successful candidate will be professional, dedicated, enthusiastic and capable of inspiring students and colleagues, with a practical and creative approach to learning that engages learners and supports progression.
Responsibilities- Deliver accredited qualifications from Level 2 to Level 3 within the Uniformed Services/Public Services curriculum.
- Plan, deliver and assess high-quality teaching, learning and assessment that engages 16–18 year olds and 19+ cohorts.
- Innovate and create engaging learning methods to support student progression to higher level learning and training.
- Maintain professional practice, adapt to a demanding and changing environment, and use digital technologies effectively in teaching, learning and assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to inspire students and contribute to the wider faculty area.
- Minimum requirement:
Level 3 Public Services qualification and working knowledge of teaching content within the Public Services curriculum. - A teaching qualification at Level 5 or above is desirable; if not held, we support you to complete your qualification.
- Background in the Uniformed Services sector is desirable.
- Experience delivering to 16–18 year olds and 19+ cohorts; ability to create outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and to support learner progression.
- Ability to bring current skills and awareness of digital technologies to teaching, learning and assessment.

- Permanent, with salary £33,742 – £42,182 per annum FTE (Band
