At NUAST, our staff are passionate advocates for young people and strive to ensure our students can go beyond what they thought possible.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and committed Family Support Worker that can support students and their families. At NUAST we pride ourselves on providing excellent support and care to our students; this role is central to us achieving this.

The post holder will bridge the gap between School and home, supporting attendance, safeguarding and transition back into school. You will engage with children and families to break down barriers to attendance and support students to engage in education and all that NUAST has to offer.

The Nova Education Trust is a cross-phase Multi-Academy Trust based in Nottinghamshire. The schools in our portfolio includes both secondary and primaries, working in a range of contexts. Our track record demonstrates our ability to deliver our core goal, achievement for every child.

Please ensure your application arrives by 9.00am on the closing date of Wednesday 5th August 2026. Interviews will take place on Wednesday 12th August.

The Trust and school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with DfE requirements.
