A high-achieving 11-18 school in Nottinghamshire is seeking an inspiring English Teacher to join its successful English faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher who wants to work with students across the full age and ability range including a strong and well-established sixth form.

The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with the opportunity to teach A-level English Literature depending on experience. You will be expected to contribute to the departments whole-school reading strategy support literacy intervention groups where needed and play an active role in moderating and standardising assessments across the faculty. Experienced candidates may also have the opportunity to mentor trainee or early-career teachers.

Requirements

• Degree in English and QTS

• Strong subject knowledge across KS3-5; A-level experience highly desirable
