French Teacher — Well-Regarded Secondary School in Nottinghamshire

A well-regarded 11-18 secondary school in Nottinghamshire is seeking a French Teacher to join its established Modern Foreign Languages department with flexibility for candidates seeking either full-time or part-time hours. This is an excellent opportunity for a linguist who wants to work within a department with strong sixth-form uptake of languages.

You will teach French across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 (AQA) supporting the departments annual exchange programme with a partner school in France and contributing to MFL enrichment days throughout the year. The role includes making effective use of interactive language-learning software and for experienced candidates supporting sixth-form students preparing for university applications involving languages. You will also be expected to maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to department planning.

Requirements

• Degree in French and QTS

• Fluency in French with strong subject knowledge across KS3-5

• A-level teaching experience desirable

• Enthusiasm for supporting exchange programmes and language enrichment activities

• A flexible collaborative approach whether working full-time or part-time
