Teacher Active is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to support schools across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

We collaborate closely with a diverse range of excellent primary schools, each offering supportive leadership teams, welcoming staff, and excellent facilities. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with flexible day-to-day cover as well as longer-term placements.

The Role

Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the UK curriculum
Provide flexible cover across KS1 or KS2
Follow lesson plans to maintain continuity of learning
Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively
Differentiating activities to support pupils’ varied needs
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and school staff
Create a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment
Adhere to all safeguarding, medical and allergy procedures

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS check uploaded to the Update Service
Experience teaching the UK primary curriculum
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Understanding of Benedict’s Law and allergy safety protocols
Thorough knowledge of safeguarding requirements
Ability to adapt quickly to different schools and year groups
Creative, enthusiastic and professional approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
