Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a dedicated Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) for a position starting immediately or in January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Science educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS3, KS4, and potentially specialist Science KS5.

Nottingham partner schools feature state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and strong university link programmes.

• Deliver the KS3 & KS4 Science curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced in Nottingham
• Plan, prepare, and assess Combined and Specialist Science lessons in line with CLEAPSS safety standards
• Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions
• Contribute to Science department improvement planning
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching Science experience in a UK secondary setting
• Is passionate about Science education and student achievement
• Has excellent behaviour management, practical laboratory safety skills, and communication skills
• Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life

• Day-to-day supply | Long-term assignments | Permanent positions
• Full-time (5 days per week) | Part-time (1 day or more per week)
