Key Responsibilities Teaching and Learning
  • Deliver high-quality face-to-face teaching and training sessions for the Level 3 Autism and SEND programme in line with curriculum and awarding organisation requirements.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging learning activities that develop learners' understanding of autism, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), inclusive practice, and learner support strategies.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs, experience levels, and learning styles of learners.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation and discussion.
  • Use current sector knowledge, legislation, and best practice to ensure training remains relevant and impactful.
  • Monitor learner attendance, engagement, and progress throughout the programme.
Assessment and Quality
  • Assess learner work in accordance with awarding organisation requirements and internal quality assurance processes.
  • Provide timely, constructive, and developmental feedback to support learner progress and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and assessment documentation.
  • Ensure assessment decisions are fair, valid, reliable, and consistent.
  • Support learners to successfully achieve programme outcomes and qualifications within agreed timescales.
  • Participate in standardisation activities and quality improvement initiatives as required.
Learner Support
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance to support learner progress and achievement.
  • Identify barriers to learning and implement appropriate support strategies.
  • Support learners to develop their understanding of inclusive practice and effective support for individuals with autism and SEND.
  • Signpost learners to specialist support services where appropriate.
  • Promote equality, diversity, inclusion, learner wellbeing, and positive learning experiences.
Safeguarding and Compliance
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, and relevant SEND legislation.
  • Report safeguarding concerns in line with organisational procedures.
  • Ensure all delivery activities comply with Learning Curve Group policies, awarding organisation requirements, and funding rules.
  • Maintain confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and accurate learner records at all times.
Employer and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with learners, employers, education providers, and key stakeholders.
  • Communicate learner progress, attendance, and achievement effectively.
  • Act as a professional ambassador for Learning Curve Group at all times.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement activities where required.
Travel Requirements

This is a field-based role covering the East Midlands region. The post holder must be willing and able to travel to delivery venues, learner locations, and employer sites across the region.
