We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Cover Manager who can support our students to go beyond what they thought possible and ensure that lessons remain high quality in the absence of their specialist teacher.

Staff at NUAST benefit from a highly supportive culture, strong CPD opportunities and collaboration with subject experts. We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships and share our commitment to ensuring every student achieves success.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with supply agencies to ensure lessons are covered and updating MIS system with arrangements
  • Delivering cover lessons in the absence of a teacher in accordance with the school policy
  • Promoting positive student behaviour through developing strong relationships
