Are you an experienced ground worker or civil engineering professional looking to step off site and pass your trade on to the next generation?

You’ll join a further education provider in the North West, delivering groundworks training to learners working towards their qualifications. Across classroom sessions and practical workshops, you’ll bring your trade experience into the teaching environment and help learners build the skills employers are looking for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging theory and practical groundworks sessions.
• Adapting your teaching to meet the individual needs of learners.
• Assessing learner work and tracking progress towards qualification completion.
• Producing learning resources to support the programme.
• Keeping accurate records and completing associated administrative tasks.

• A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in groundworks, civil engineering or a related construction discipline
• Trade experience you can draw on in the workshop and classroom
• The ability to motivate and support learners to achieve

• A recognised teaching or assessing qualification
