Are you an experienced mechanical engineer looking to pass your skills on to the next generation, or an established lecturer ready for a new challenge?

You’ll join a training provider in the North West, delivering mechanical engineering programmes to learners at various levels, combining hands‑on workshop sessions with classroom‑based theory. If you haven’t taught before, that’s not a barrier: full teacher training and ongoing support are available to help you make the move from industry into education.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and practical lessons in mechanical engineering.
• Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans and learning resources.
• Assessing learner progress and providing timely, constructive feedback.
• Supporting learners to develop the skills and confidence needed for careers in the sector.
• Embedding current industry practice into your teaching.

• A minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
• Solid industry experience within a mechanical engineering environment
• A passion for teaching and developing learners
