A permanent lunchtime role supporting pupils at Little Gonerby C of E Primary Academy, covering the midday period on school days. The work centres on serving meals, supervising children indoors and outdoors, and helping to set up and clear the dining space. The post is five hours a week, weekdays only, during term time. Enhanced DBS clearance and proof of right to work are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
Whatthe job involves
- Set up the hall or classroom for lunch, including tables, chairs and cutlery
- Serve food to pupils, ensuring each receives the meal their parents ordered
- Supervise pupils in the hall or classroom during lunch
- Supervise and interact with pupils during outdoor playtime
- Know the medical and dietary needs of pupils in your care
- Help clean the hall or classroom after lunch
- Complete further training, such as food hygiene and allergy e-learning and manual handling
- Reliability and punctuality
- Commitment to teamwork
- Hardworking and flexible approach
- Enhanced DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
- Satisfactory references, requested before interview
