Learning Support Assistant

Learning Support Assistant at Huntingtower Community Primary Academy, a primary school for 4-11 year olds in the Priory Federation of Academies Trust, on a temporary contract running to August 2028. The work is supporting pupils to access the curriculum in and outside the classroom, including children with special needs, in both academic and social development. Hours are part-time, with morning and afternoon sessions daily and possible additional lunch cover paid monthly.

An enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

• Support pupils to access the curriculum in and outside the classroom
• Support pupils with special needs, academically and socially
• Work morning sessions, 8.50am to 12.10pm, and afternoon sessions, 1.10pm to 3.15pm, daily
• Provide lunch cover for some pupils, with additional hours claimed monthly

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A to C
• Level 3 qualification or working towards one

• Previous experience of working with pupils

• Computer literacy, including MS Word, Outlook and Excel

• Full enhanced DBS check
