Exam Invigilator

An exam invigilator post at St Thomas Becket Catholic School, supervising students through the school's exam timetable as set by the exam officer. The work involves handing out papers, directing students using the seating plan, watching conduct and collecting and counting scripts afterwards. In-house training is given, and a teacher in charge leaves once the exam has started. Visa sponsorship is not available, and an enhanced DBS check applies.

• Hand out exam papers so each student receives the correct one
• Use the seating plan to direct students to their seats
• Report missing students to the office
• Observe and check that student behaviour follows the exam rules
• Co-ordinate with colleagues to collect completed answers and exam papers
• Count and collate papers and complete records
• Tidy the room and take papers to the office
