Join our team as a Learning Support Assistant in vibrant Nottingham! Help shape the future of young minds by providing valuable support to students and teachers in a dynamic school setting.
- Supporting and encouraging pupils in their schoolwork
- Looking after vulnerable children and managing their physical needs
- Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
- Supporting children during social activities and outings
- Helping children during therapy sessions
- Assisting teachers to plan learning activities and prepare learning materials
- Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
- Supervising pupils in the playground
- Clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
- Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Fluent levels of spoken and written English
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND
- Available for full-time work
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
- A minimum of 2 references covering the past 24 months
