Joining Arup Arup’s purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 80 years, guiding how we shape a better world.
Moving away from fossil fuels and accelerating the transformation of the global energy system are vital to the low‑carbon future we all want to achieve. Arup is committed to imagining, designing and realising the energy solutions that will shape that system. We take a whole‑system perspective, working across every element of the energy system, from feasibility studies and infrastructure planning through to core engineering and delivery.
This creates opportunities for our people to work at the heart of the energy transition and help turn ambitious ideas into lasting impact.
Our Energy Advisory team in the Midlands, Wales and West are recruiting Senior Energy Advisory Consultants / Senior Project Managers to join us! Our team combines advisory and project delivery, and these roles span both. We are a multidisciplinary group of consultants and project managers, advising developers, utilities, network operators, government bodies and investors across the project lifecycle. We work with the organisations shaping the UK energy system: network owners and system operators including National Grid and NESO;
government and public bodies such as DESNZ, Great British Energy and The Crown Estate; offshore wind developers including Cerulean Winds and Copenhagen Offshore Partners; and major generators including Uniper, SSE and RWE.
As a senior member of the team, you will lead the delivery of energy projects and programmes and act as a trusted adviser to our clients. You will be accountable for the quality, commercial performance and client experience of your work, and you will play a key part in developing our team and growing our business.
We are looking for individuals who bring sound judgement, confidence with clients and the curiosity to find better ways of working.
At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas. You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.
