Role:
Senior Controls Engineer

Location:
Actemium Automation Nottingham - Main office (Ilkeston)

Hours:
Full-Time, 37.5hrs per week, Flexible Hours

Salary Range: £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)

Actemium Automation Nottingham is looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic team!

About the role

As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will design, review, test, and commission control systems, ensuring customer needs are met with seamless integration and performance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise directly with customers and internal design/management teams.
  • Design and test control systems according to specifications, standards, and legislative requirements.
  • Supervise system design, build, and installation teams.
  • Lead the commissioning of control systems at customer sites.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
  • Understanding of the technical project lifecycle.
  • Strong time management skills with a structured, methodical approach.
  • Good knowledge of industrial control software systems.
