Senior Structural Technician

The perfect opportunity has arisen for aSenior Structural Technician in Nottingham. My Client is an award winning, multi-disciplined Engineering Consultancy who have multiple offices throughout the UK. With a strong presence in the Midlands region they require a further Structural Technician to join their friendly and welcoming Structures Department.

As a Senior Technician you will be undertaking a range of Interesting and challenging projects and will have the autonomy to lead your own projects.

• Undertaking technical drawing work in 2D and 3D on major structural engineering projects (buildings).
• Producing reinforcement bending schedules for reinforced concrete.
• Managing workload to ensure deadlines are met and client requirements are fulfilled.
• Liaising with Clients, internal and external design teams on a daily basis.
• Contribute and take an active role in the improvement of Company and Drawing Office procedures.

• Good all‑round technical drawing expertise using Revit and AutoCAD for all building materials.
• Exceptional knowledge of structural build details and construction interfaces.
• Experience in the detailing of structures particularly in reinforced concrete.
• Effective communication skills.
