Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Senior Structural Engineer based in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting structural analyses, designing structural systems, preparing technical reports, and managing projects across a variety of sectors. The role involves working closely with clients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing innovative and practical engineering solutions. You will be expected to mentor less experienced team members and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles to design and manage projects effectively.
  • Strong skills in Structural Analysis and performing accurate engineering calculations to ensure safety and feasibility.
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for drafting and creating detailed structural plans.
  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and membership or eligibility for membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE or IStruct

    E).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills to work effectively in a team environment and with clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations. Previous experience in sectors such as industrial, residential, healthcare, or commercial is a plus.
