Are you an experienced Design Engineer with strong CNC machining knowledge? This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior role where you'll work directly with customers and lead complex design projects from initial concept through to completion.

About the Role

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will take ownership of technical design activities and collaborate closely with internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with clients to understand mechanical applications and project requirements.
Produce detailed mechanical designs using 3D CAD software (Siemens NX or Solid Works).
Conduct simulations and virtual tests to validate and refine designs.
Document design processes, iterations, and test data clearly and accurately.
Manage project timelines, resources, and client communication.
Liaise with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams for seamless delivery.
Create technical reports, specification documents, and operational manuals.
Stay updated on relevant engineering trends and technologies.

About You

Requirements

Experience in a sales-related engineering role.
3+ years of engineering experience, ideally with strong CNC machining knowledge.
Proficiency in Siemens NX or Solid Works.
Solid understanding of engineering and design principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
High attention to detail.
A mechanical engineering degree is desirable but not essential.
