You will support the Commissioning Manager and EPC contractor during plant start-up and testing activities, ensuring systems are commissioned in line with design specifications, quality standards, and HSE procedures.
Role: Electrical Commissioning Engineer, or Mechanical Commissioning Engineer depending on preference.
Scope of work: Balance of plant
Contract Type: Freelance / Limited Company
Start: Immediate / November 2025
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and record commissioning and start-up activities.
- Supervise pre-commissioning checks, system energisation, and functional testing.
- Review and verify completion documentation (ICAPS, MCCs, punch lists).
- Coordinate between construction, operations, and OEM vendors during commissioning.
- Troubleshoot system issues and support performance testing and optimisation.
- Ensure all work complies with site safety and environmental procedures.
- Participate in handover to operations and provide technical input for O&M manuals.
