A new opportunity has opened for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Nottingham.
This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of ground investigation and geotechnical projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure schemes. You will gain hands‑on site experience, strong technical development, and clear progression opportunities within a supportive team.
This is a great opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to work on a range of projects whilsit receiving support from a team of talented engineers, whilst passing on knowledge to graduates.

Key Responsibilities- Carrying out and supervising ground investigations
- Soil and rock logging to current standards
- Desk studies and site walkovers
- Preparing factual and interpretative reports
- Foundation recommendations and geotechnical assessments
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams
- Ensuring health and safety compliance on site
- Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, or related field
- Experience in ground investigation or geotechnical engineering
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
