Main duties include:

  • Assist the Senior Estimator in analysing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
  • Gather and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes for materials and services.
  • Support the team in maintaining accurate records of estimates, calculations, and assumptions.
  • Work with the design and engineering teams to identify cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop an understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation processes.
  • Help monitor project budgets and track costs against initial estimates under the guidance of the Senior Estimator.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, materials, and supplier pricing.

    • You will also have the opportunity to enrol onto a paid Level 3 Construction Support Technician course held at Basford college one day a week, for 2 academic years.
