Talent is recruiting for an Embodied Carbon Consultant / Senior LCA Consultant to join a growing sustainability consultancy delivering carbon, sustainability and built environment services across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LCA Consultant, Embodied Carbon Consultant, or Sustainability Consultant with strong One Click LCA experience to take on a hands‑on technical role within a successful and expanding consultancy team.

As an Embodied Carbon & LCA Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering embodied carbon assessments, lifecycle assessments, and whole life carbon reports across a range of built environment projects.

The consultancy is looking for someone who can confidently undertake assessments using One Click LCA software and hit the ground running due to continued growth in their sustainability and carbon services.

This is a technical delivery role, so the successful candidate must be comfortable carrying out the assessments themselves rather than simply managing the process.

• Undertake embodied carbon assessments using One Click LCA
• Deliver lifecycle assessment and whole life carbon reporting
• Support low carbon design strategies across built environment projects
• Work with sustainability, energy and carbon teams
• Produce accurate technical reports for clients
• Support the growth of embodied carbon and LCA services

You will ideally have:

• Experience using One Click LCA
• Strong knowledge of embodied carbon
• Experience undertaking lifecycle assessments within the built environment
• Understanding of whole life carbon, carbon reporting and sustainable construction
• Strong technical, analytical and report-writing skills

Additional skills would be advantageous but are not essential. These could include experience in:

• BREEAM
• Energy and carbon consultancy
• Sustainability consultancy
• Environmental assessment methods
• Quantity surveying or cost-related carbon assessment

The preferred location is Nottingham, with hybrid working available. London-based candidates may also be considered.
