Job Description

Are you interested in environmental monitoring and water sampling? This could be your opportunity to excel as an Environmental Field Technician, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success. We are seeking a proactive, reliable and flexible Environmental Monitoring Technician to join our Water and Environment team. In this role, you will need the confidence to work independently and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

The tasks you will undertake will include:

  • Undertaking environmental and water sampling across multiple client sites
  • Carrying out legionella monitoring, compliance inspections and site observations
  • Producing technical reports and maintaining accurate records
Qualifications

To be a successful Environmental Field Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • A science-based qualification and full UK driving licence
  • Strong organisational, communication and IT skills
  • Ability to work safely across varied and safety-critical sites
