Are you an experienced Mechanical Design engineer looking for a wide ranging, technically challenging and varied role in an exciting industry?

On offer is a position with a well established and stable organisation who employ over 200 people on site in Nottingham, working on new product design work, using Inventor.

The role will be working on a wide variety of bespoke projects and will allow you to use your innovative and creative skills.

The position is a combination of hands on mechanical product design, with mentoring more junior design staff and liaising with clients.

• Full time, permanent, office based position with a large global manufacturer, working in an exciting industry
• Leading design projects focused on new product prototypes
• Perform complex engineering calculations to ensure designs are compliant
• Mentor junior design staff

• HNC level/degree in mechanical engineering
• Working background in the manufacturing sector
• Ideally experience of designing frames, so heavy engineering/structural or automotive design knowledge would be a good fit
• FEA experience
• Working experience in a 3D Product Design role using of AutoCAD Inventor or equivalent CAD software
• Willing to undertake occasional international travel (mainly Europe)
