About the Role

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer you will be required to undertake a design role on high pressure pipeline and plant systems, working to high engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Providing project control from initial approval through to commissioning and handover.
  • Ensuring agreed man-hour and cost targets are adhered to through effective project and financial control.
  • Preparing project plans and programmes to ensure work is carried out in accordance with Premtech’s requirements, to meet and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Providing appropriate engineering designs in accordance with relevant company, client, national and international standards. Ensuring good engineering practices are maintained.
  • Preparing contract documentation for procurement of services and materials.
  • Evaluating tenders and providing recommendations for contract award.
  • Managing contracts and authorising invoices within allocated financial authority for payment.
  • Maintaining good client relationships to help secure continuing business.
  • Preparing estimates and technical input for proposals to prospective clients.
Qualifications

Having been awarded at least a 2:1 (Upper Second–Class honours) in a Mechanical Engineering degree accredited by the IMechE, you will be seeking to gain Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
