Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer
PEM designs and manufactures wide-bandwidth current probes and sensors based on Rogowski coil technology for the measurement of AC, pulsed and high di/dt currents.
Our products are used by engineers working in power electronics, converter development, semiconductor testing, motor drives, renewable energy systems, industrial monitoring and high-current test environments. The CWT range is designed for oscilloscope and power analyser applications where bandwidth, low insertion impedance, flexible installation and high-current capability are critical. The RCT range supports permanent and semi-permanent current measurement in industrial systems, with outputs suitable for integration into data acquisition, monitoring and control platforms.
With decades of experience in clip‑around Rogowski coil design, PEM combines coil geometry, screening, integrator design and calibration into complete measurement systems for demanding electrical environments.
Job DescriptionDue to continuing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a calibration engineer to join Power Electronic Measurement (PEM) within our manufacturing operations. The Calibration Engineer will support the calibration, test, inspection, fault‑finding and repair of PEM’s current measurement products. This is a practical, hands‑on role suited to someone with a strong interest in electronics, measurement systems and diagnostic work.
The successful candidate will work with electronic test equipment, follow established calibration procedures, investigate product behaviour and support the delivery of reliable, high‑quality measurement instruments to customers.
This is a full‑time (39.5 hour / week) permanent role.
Full in‑house training will be provided by PEM’s engineering team. This will include product operation, calibration methods, measurement principles and the specific test processes used within PEM.
