An exciting opportunity for an experienced Stress Analysis Engineer to support pipeline and energy infrastructure projects across the UK’s growing net‑zero sector. The role focuses on pipework stress analysis
, with additional work in FEA
, fatigue
, fracture mechanics and CFD
.

• Perform pipework stress analysis using CAESAR II.
• Conduct FEA
  , fatigue, fracture mechanics, and vibration assessments.
• Run CFD simulations for gas flow, dispersion, and ventilation.
• Support hydrogen and CO₂ pipeline assessments to ASME B31.12.
• Produce clear technical reports and mentor junior engineers.

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related engineering discipline.
• Strong experience in pipework stress analysis (UK gas industry ideal).
• Skilled with CAESAR II and recognised FEA tools.
• Knowledge of IGEM, ASME, BS, PSR, PSSR, CDM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Chartered or working toward chartership (preferred).
