A Fantastic Opportunity:Senior CDM Advisor
To advise and support all SP ENW project teams in the delivery of CDM 2015 duty holder roles, Client, Principal Designer and Principal Contractor including the management of construction site safety in a proportionate manner on SP ENW projects including:
New built substations, asset replacement and refurbishment, overhead and underground circuits up to and including 132kV.
The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
There is also opportunity for agile working following completion of your probationary period.
What we’re looking forWe welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who meet the following criteria:
- Understanding of electrical operational requirements and civil and electrical construction techniques on SP ENW projects.
- Full UK Driving Licence - must be able to drive to cover all SP ENW footprint.
- Hold a NEBOSH construction certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of concept design, build ability, detailed design, construction techniques and procurement routes.
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and how this impacts SP ENW.
- Able to interpret technical reports to ensure health and safety issues are considered and managed during the project.
- Ability to communicate with different level and skillsets within SP ENW and contractors’ organisations.
- Ability to identify potential problems, understand key issues and investigate alternatives.
