As an Assistant Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will be supported to expand your knowledge, gain valuable site experience and continue your professional development.
What You Will Be Doing- Assisting with contaminated land and environmental assessments under the guidance of senior colleagues.
- Supporting site investigations and independently carrying out site data collection activities, including gas monitoring.
- Helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Following health, safety, quality and environmental procedures, legislation and best practice at all times.
- Preparing technical reports using desk study information and site investigation data.
- Working closely with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders.
- Representing the business professionally across meetings, projects and industry events where required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geological Sciences or a related discipline.
- Experience contributing to technical reporting, including Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Intrusive Investigations, human health risk assessments and remediation strategies.
- Knowledge of contaminated land assessment principles.
- Strong IT skills, including a working knowledge of GIS and site investigation data management software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
- Membership of, or a desire to work towards membership of, a relevant professional body with ongoing CPD.
- £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
