We’re currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business in Nottingham. The company has a strong reputation within its industry and operates a modern, highly automated manufacturing environment.

The Role As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for keeping a range of automated manufacturing machinery running efficiently and safely. The role will involve a mixture of planned maintenance, reactive fault finding and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
Attending to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across the site Fault finding on automated machinery and production equipment
Robot fault finding and programmingPLC fault finding, diagnostics and programming
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Identifying recurring faults and helping to improve machine reliability
Working with automated systems, sensors, drives, motors and control equipment
Supporting installation, modification and improvement projects where required
Working closely with the wider engineering and production teams
Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
About You We’re looking for an electrically biased maintenance engineer who is confident working in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
You’ll ideally have experience with:
Electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environmentPLC fault finding and programming
Robotics – fault finding and programming
Automated machinery and control systems
Planned and reactive maintenance
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
Diagnosing faults efficiently and methodically
