Mechanical Design Engineer, Building Services, East Midlands, Nottingham

Company Profile:
This company are seeking to recruit a mechanical services engineer to join their team and are looking for a candidate who has enthusiasm, drive and a passion for exceeding client’s expectations. This is a very important role and the ideal candidate will be able to support and develop this expanding business, whilst managing projects, staff and planning workloads. Specialising in the procurement of Building Services installations for new buildings, refurbishments and fit out projects for most market sectors including commercial, industrial, residential, retail, food process and healthcare.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have practical and detailed knowledge of mechanical design using AutoCAD,HEVACOMP, site experience and will be able to prepare budget costings. Knowledge of the latest Part L building regulations is important and an understanding of Thermal Modelling would be advantageous, but is not essential. Ideally you will be a chartered engineer or on your way to being so, or hold a recognised qualification, and have experience of commercial, residential and industrial projects.

The candidate will also be IT literate, be a good communicator, adaptable, team player, professional, and contribute positively to the delivery of a high quality client focused service.
