Product Development Engineer

Product Development Engineer Opportunity for a proven Engineer with both mechanical and electrical experience. Electromechanical position that will see you support with both design and build / testing of equipment. Good mix of CAD desk work and hands on testing / assembly. Flexible day shift working hours, scope for progression, and excellent working culture. Salary & Package: c £45,000 to £50,000 as a guide  25 days holiday  banks.

Wider development opportunities. This Product Development Engineer job will suit: A proven Engineer with both mechanical and electrical projects experience. Comfortable with mechanical CAD design (Solidworks) and based circuit designs. Wider experience supporting projects from concept through to design. Flexible in nature, sometimes the role will be heavily design focused, other stages of the project will require more hands-on support with regards to testing, assembly etc.

Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD (Solidworks) Design and support electrical/electronic subsystems (PCB layout coordination, wiring harnesses, sensors etc) Build and test prototypes Select components and materials based on cost, manufacturability, and performance Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation This job is commutable from Nottingham
