Unlike a traditional leadership role, this is a genuine entrepreneurial opportunity for someone who wants to combine technical excellence with business ownership and growth.

Opportunity Our clients existing business currently subcontracts all geotechnical work to external providers. With a strong pipeline of projects already available, they see a significant opportunity to bring these services in-house and create a dedicated geotechnical consultancy with immediate revenue potential.

We are seeking a commercially minded geotechnical professional to take ownership of this venture, deliver existing work streams, develop new client relationships, and build a high-performing team.

About You

You will be:

An experienced Geotechnical Engineer operating at Associate Director, Director, or equivalent level

Technically strong with a proven track record in geotechnical investigation, analysis, and reporting

Commercially aware and motivated by building a business

Capable of winning work, developing client relationships, and leading project delivery

Passionate about growing and mentoring a geotechnical team Entrepreneurial in mindset and excited by the challenge of creating something from the ground up
