Want to take a senior leadership role within a growing Transmission & Distribution design team delivering major UK power infrastructure projects? Our client is looking for an experienced Associate Director to help lead and develop its T&D design capability, supporting projects across substations, transmission, distribution and wider grid infrastructure.
Job Role As Associate Director, you will take a senior role within the design team, providing technical and operational leadership across a portfolio of Transmission & Distribution projects.
You will oversee the delivery of engineering and design packages, support project and programme performance, manage and mentor engineering teams, and work closely with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
The role will also involve supporting resource planning, technical governance, design quality and the continued growth of the T&D business.
Requirements Strong background within Transmission & Distribution design
Ideally 5 years' post graduate engineering experience, although this is flexible for the right candidate
Experience working within a grid-based, regulated or utility environment
Previous experience leading or managing engineering/design teams
Strong understanding of power infrastructure projects including substations, transmission or distribution networks
Ability to manage multiple engineering projects and technical deliverables
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior engineer or design leader looking to step into an Associate Director position with responsibility for both technical delivery and team development.
Salary, package and development
For this Associate Director opportunity, you will receive:70,000 (DOE), possible flex for the right candidate6,900 Car Allowance Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office,
