We have excellent inhouse engineering teams capable of delivering all stages of the project cycle, from concept through to commissioning, with a strong focus on process led innovative and robust yet appropriate solutions.

We have a portfolio of varied projects covering both wastewater and clean water projects for planned and reactive projects.

Due to the expansion of our team, we are currently recruiting for Setting out Engineer to work within our multi-disciplinary teams. This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic individuals who fit in with our company values and are keen to develop in a forward-thinking organisation.

Role Purpose The Setting Out Engineer is responsible for the accurate setting out of civil engineering and construction works, ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with design drawings, specifications, and project requirements. The role supports the successful delivery of projects by providing precise surveying, quality assurance, and technical support while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities Project Delivery
· Carry out all setting out activities using all required measuring tools and automatic levels.
· Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design information to establish accurate site control.
· Establish and maintain site control points and survey benchmarks.
· Set out earthworks, drainage, pipelines, reinforced concrete structures, foundations, roads, steelwork, and associated civil engineering works.
· Verify dimensions, levels, and coordinates before construction activities commence.
· Produce and maintain accurate survey records, setting out data, and as-built information.
· Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure work complies with design tolerances and project specifications.
· Identify and report design discrepancies, clashes, or site issues to the Site Manager or Project Engineer.
· Support subcontractors by providing setting out information and technical guidance.
