Electronics Development Technician

Specialising in advanced technology, this pioneering organisation has built a global reputation for engineering excellence and innovation. With continued investment and ambitious growth plans, they are expanding their R&D team with the addition of an Electronics Development Technician.

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, integrating and testing complex electronic prototype systems. Working closely with Electronics Engineers, you'll carry out PCB assembly, soldering, fault finding and hardware testing, while also supporting schematic capture, PCB modifications and prototype development.

This role would therefore suit an individual with strong PCB assembly, soldering and fault-finding experience who is looking for a highly practical role within an innovative and rapidly expanding medical technology company.

The Role:

• Assembly, integration and testing of electronic prototype systems
• PCB assembly, rework, soldering and fault finding
• Support electronic design, PCB modifications and prototype development
• £35,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + 33 Days Holiday

The Person:

• Experience assembling and debugging electronic systems
• Strong PCB soldering and fault-finding skills
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters or similar test equipment
• Commutable to the Long Eaton area
