We are partnering with a fast-growing, private equity–backed business that operate across multiple geographies who are seeking a newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to join on a full-time permanent basis. This is a broad role with both UK and group-level responsibilities, offering excellent scope for career progression as the business expands.

The role combines technical reporting with commercial exposure, covering VAT, consolidations, reconciliations, investor reporting and tax compliance, alongside involvement in finance projects and process improvements. It is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to build a strong foundation in group finance while gaining early responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing UK VAT returns.
  • Supporting monthly group consolidation across multiple entities.
  • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the offshore team.
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly and quarterly investor reporting packs.
  • Liaising with advisors on UK corporation tax computations.
  • Contributing to finance projects such as system changes and process improvements.
Future Responsibilities
  • Leading specific group reporting work streams.
  • Supervising a junior team member (e.g. AP oversight).
  • Driving finance transformation and systems initiatives.
  • Gaining exposure to cross-border finance projects.
What we're looking for
  • Newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), trained in practice or industry, ideally with some consolidation exposure.
  • Strong technical grounding and attention to detail.
  • Confident reviewing work prepared by others.
  • Ambitious, adaptable, and comfortable in a varied role.
  • Effective communicator, able to work with both internal stakeholders and external advisors.
