Asset Investment Administrator
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail‑oriented Asset Investment Administrator to join our team in Nottingham.
You will be responsible for supporting the planning, tracking, reporting, and governance of capital expenditure (CAPEX) investments across the organisation. This role ensures that capital projects are accurately documented, financially controlled, compliant with internal policies, and aligned with approved budgets and business objectives.
Working HoursThe working hours are from Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. Flexible and hybrid working options are also available.
Responsibilities- Maintain and administer CAPEX investment records, approvals, and documentation.
- Track capital project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
- Monitor project spend against approved budgets and identify variances.
- Ensure CAPEX requests comply with internal approval processes and financial policies.
- Support capitalisation processes and asset creation in financial systems.
- Prepare regular CAPEX reports, dashboards, and investment summaries.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end financial reporting activities related to capital projects.
- Analyse investment data and provide insights on project performance and spending trends.
- Support audit requests by providing accurate documentation and financial records.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset with continuous improvement focus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in CAPEX administration, finance operations, project accounting, or investment coordination.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as M3, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
- Understanding of capital project accounting and budgeting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and financial reporting tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
