Games Workshop has an exciting and rare opportunity for a Group Indirect Tax Advisor to join our international tax team. We're looking for someone enthusiastic about delivering an efficient tax service, who can navigate complex Indirect tax situations on domestic and international requirements to ensure we maintain the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Deliver an efficient tax service and navigate complex indirect tax situations, both domestically and internationally.
- Minimise tax charges and penalties by ensuring all indirect tax filing requirements are accurate and on time.
- Provide tax support for global projects, aligning with the unique requirements of the business and optimising tax outcomes.
- Document process notes and process maps, ensuring corporate governance of the Tax Policy.
- Support the evolution of processes and the automation of indirect tax—including E‑Invoicing, Real‑Time Reporting, SAF‑T, MTD and Fiscal Till Requirements.
- Collaborate across Finance and other departments, working with a range of business areas.
- Prepare the UK Group VAT Return and other complex indirect tax filings.
- Take responsibility for EMEA and ASPAC indirect tax compliance, ensuring seamless information flows.
- Previously worked in indirect taxes in‑house or within a broader accounting department.
- Experience filing complex VAT returns and applying tax knowledge to business scenarios.
- Proactive, organised, and resilient, with a keen eye for detail and a can‑do attitude.
- Strong technical knowledge of indirect tax legislation and the ability to adapt to legislative changes.
- Effective communication skills at all levels, comfortable managing external relationships with auditors and advisers.
- Location: Hybrid working basis; expected to work out of our head office in Lenton twice a week.
- Closing date: Sunday 19th July 2026 (midnight, UK time).
