Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Salary - £70,000 - £75,000 p.a Plus 20% Bonus

We're recruiting an FP&A Manager to join a high-growth, acquisitive business in a newly created role reporting directly to the CEO.

This is a rare opportunity to build the FP&A function from the ground up while becoming a trusted commercial partner to the Projects team. We're particularly interested in candidates with a strong projects, contracts, or project finance background who have experience working closely with Project Managers and operational stakeholders to drive profitability.

You'll be responsible for developing the company's FP&A capability, delivering meaningful commercial insight, and helping operational teams make better decisions through data. This is a highly visible role with genuine influence across the business.

• Partner with Project Managers to monitor project performance, costs, margins and contract profitability.
• Deliver real-time financial insight to identify risks, opportunities and budget overruns.
• Build forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling capabilities.
• Produce meaningful KPI dashboards and management reporting.
• Support pricing decisions, commercial analysis and scenario modelling.
• Work closely with senior leadership, including direct exposure to the CEO and investors.
• Help implement new systems, reporting processes and BI tools as the business continues to scale.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong FP&A experience within a commercial environment
• Excellent financial modelling skills
• Experience partnering with project leads, contract managers or operational teams
• Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business

• Experience with in engineering, facilities management, manufacturing, industrial services or construction-related businesses
• Power BI or other business intelligence tools
