Games Workshop is excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Group Indirect Tax Advisor to join our international tax team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual dedicated to providing efficient tax services while adeptly navigating complex indirect tax situations on both domestic and international fronts. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of compliance.

As an Indirect Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all indirect tax filing requirements are accurate and submitted on time, thereby minimizing tax charges and penalties. You will need to possess strong technical skills and be comfortable communicating across all levels of the business, managing relationships with external auditors and advisors effectively.

Your proactive nature and keen instincts will be essential as you provide tax support for global projects, ensuring alignment with the unique requirements of the business to support growth while optimizing tax outcomes and mitigating risks. Excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude will help you document all process notes and maps, ensuring adherence to our corporate governance of the Tax Policy.

We encourage you to remain inquisitive and support the evolution of processes and automation in Indirect Tax, including E-Invoicing, Real Time Reporting, SAF-T, MTD, and Fiscal Till Requirements. Given our vertically integrated structure, you will have the opportunity to work across various business areas and develop your skills in overseas tax requirements.

Collaboration will be key as you prepare the UK Group VAT Return and other complex indirect tax filings, taking responsibility for indirect tax compliance in the EMEA and ASPAC regions while ensuring seamless information flow.

This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in indirect taxes, either in-house or within a wider accounts department, and has experience filing complex VAT returns.
