As a key member of the Finance team, you will play an important role in ensuring our payroll and finance processes run smoothly, accurately and efficiently. About the Role

The Payroll & Finance Administrator is responsible for providing accurate and timely payroll administration alongside supporting a range of transactional finance activities. You will work closely with the finance team and team members across the business to maintain strong financial controls and high-quality financial data.

Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including starters, leavers and contractual changes.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, company policies and internal controls.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve payroll-related queries.
  • Support labour cost reporting and payroll analysis.
Accounts Payable
  • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
  • Resolve supplier queries and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Support payment runs and ensure correct coding and authorisation of invoices.
Accounts Receivable
  • Assist with customer invoicing and sales ledger activities.
  • Investigate and resolve customer account queries.
  • Maintain accurate customer account records.
Cashbook & Banking
  • Post and maintain bank transactions.
  • Complete weekly bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date.
Systems & Data Management
  • Input, validate and maintain financial data.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies.
  • Help maintain data accuracy and integrity across finance systems.
About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and committed to delivering high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Good financial understanding with a willingness to learn.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Self‑motivated with a professional attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and objective decision‑making.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • AAT qualification or currently studying towards AAT.
