Project Accountant - Capital & Business Cases

The Role We are seeking a Project Accountant to support a range of significant capital projects and business cases within a large NHS organisation. Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, you will assist with the financial appraisal and development of capital investment proposals.

Key Responsibilities Support the development of capital business cases Undertake financial modelling and investment appraisal work Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making Work with operational leads to develop robust financial assumptions Support capital planning and reporting activities Ensure compliance with NHS and public sector financial guidance Requirements Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA) Experience in financial planning, business cases or capital projects Strong financial modelling and analytical skills Knowledge of Green Book methodology would be highly advantageous NHS or public sector experience desirable
