The firm has a team of around 10 people, supports approximately 700 clients and manages around £300 million in client assets. Its advice is predominantly focused on pensions and investments, with the team working closely together to provide a high standard of ongoing financial planning and client service. The role You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the firm’s Financial Advisers, helping to ensure client work is completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing annual review reports and completing review files in line with company procedures Obtaining quotations, illustrations and other pre-sale documentation Processing new business applications across pensions, investments and other financial planning products Maintaining accurate client records using the firm’s back-office system Processing client withdrawals and monitoring cases through to completion Liaising with clients, advisers and product providers Handling telephone enquiries and written correspondence Supporting the wider team with general administrative and office duties About you Previous experience within financial services administration is highly desirable, ideally gained within an Independent Financial Adviser or financial planning firm.
Experience preparing valuations and client review documentation would be particularly advantageous. You should also have:
Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy The ability to manage several competing priorities A professional and confident telephone manner Strong written and verbal communication skills A client-focused approach The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a close-knit team Experience using Intelligent Office, Dynamic Planner and Microsoft Office would be beneficial, although training can be provided where required.
Working hours Monday to Thursday: 9:00am to 5:00pm Friday: 9:00am to 4:00pm Benefits Salary of up to £30,000, depending on experience 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays Additional annual leave for long service, up to a maximum of 27 days Birthday leave Company pension scheme Death in Service cover Study support and professional development opportunities Friendly and supportive team environment This is an office-based position in Northwich, so applicants should be comfortable commuting to the office five days per week.
