Management Accountant

Meraki Accountancy & Finance's market-leading client is looking to appoint a Management Accountant on an initial 12-month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to make a real impact within a high-performing finance function. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and budget holders, providing valuable financial insight and commercial guidance while playing a key role in management reporting, budgeting and forecasting. The role also offers the opportunity to drive meaningful process improvements and shape how finance supports the wider business.

• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts to challenging deadlines, including detailed commentary and analysis of variances.
• Prepare the monthly management reporting pack, providing clear financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance throughout the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Support finance colleagues during the annual external audit.
• Act as a finance business partner to budget holders, providing sound financial advice, guidance and challenge.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy and add value to the wider finance function.

• ICAS, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant.
• Strong experience in financial analysis and management accounting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and explain financial information clearly to budget holders and non-finance stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively to challenging month-end deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and commercially focused approach.
• Experience of identifying and implementing process improvements would be advantageous.

• £50,000-£55,000 salary
• Hybrid working - 3 days office / 2 days remote
