Interim Management Accountant

Cherry Professional are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing business during an exciting period of transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to support key finance operations, deliver accurate month-end reporting and help drive process improvements on an initial 3 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Support month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments
Prepare and review P&L and balance sheet reports
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
Support payroll accounting and month-end processes
Assist with revenue recognition and financial compliance
Provide financial insight and analysis to operational and commercial stakeholders
Support finance transformation initiatives, system improvements and project work
Ensure strong financial controls and reporting accuracy throughout

About You:

ACCA/CIMA qualified or actively studying
Previous experience in a Management Accountant role
Strong month-end, reporting and reconciliation experience
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to build relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
Must have experience with SAP S/4
