A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative individual to join the Council’s award winning recycling2go team. As leaders in the waste management sector it is essential we employ high quality staff.
The recycling2go team deliver waste and recycling services for the residents of the borough. Our Recycling Support Officer will have a knowledge of waste collection and recycling and with significant changes in the pipeline for waste service be flexible and willing to adapt to any change that may affect our services.
We are looking for someone to join our team who has a knowledge of waste services in general, including Rushcliffe’s current waste and recycling services, to offer customers advice, solve problems, and provide assistance to the elderly and infirm, and adapt the service we provide to meet the customer’s needs.
Are you the person that can offer the residents of the Borough a first class service, do you have the ability to adapt to the varied demands of the service? We are looking for someone who will help to maintain our high recycling rates and low contamination levels, whilst continuing to promote the service we provide. It is essential that you are a good team player and communicator with the ability to maintain computer records and provide general day to day administrative duties for the service too.
A flexible approach to work is essential and applicants should be prepared to work week-ends on occasions.
Applicants must have a full clean current driving licence.
