Registered Nurse – HC-One Nottingham

Join HC-One and provide compassionate care in our care homes.

About the Role

We’re looking for kind, compassionate nurses to join our committed care home teams. In return, we offer competitive, experience‑based pay and an attractive package of rewarding benefits.

As a Registered Nurse at HC‑One, you will build on your existing skill set, practicing in a nurse‑led environment, developing complex decision making and collaborative skills – to name but a few. You will support our Residents at a time of their life when they may feel the most vulnerable, guiding and supporting them in life‑changing decisions. The role reflects the true heart of nursing – combining clinical expertise with the opportunity to form genuine, lasting connections with Residents and their families.

You will have at least 12 months experience in Health or Social Care, a valid NMC PIN and an understanding of the NMC standards of practice. You will mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, act as a practice supervisor and assessor to students, and promote a person‑centred approach to care.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, report concerns, and undertake confidentiality and safeguarding training where required.

About HC‑One

At HC‑One, kindness is more than a word—it’s a way of life. We believe that caring for people means caring about what matters most to them, so we can support them to live their best possible lives.

We champion inclusivity and diversity, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. We do not offer sponsorship and only consider candidates who have full right to work in the UK.

Rewards & Benefits

We offer paid NMC PIN renewal, free uniform, company pension scheme, 28 days annual leave (contract dependent), group life assurance cover and more. Benefits include:

  • Paid enhanced DBS/PVG
  • Free uniform
  • Homemade meals whilst on shift
  • Company pension scheme
  • 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays (contract dependent)
  • Group life assurance cover
  • Wagestream – financial wellbeing and flexible access to pay as you need it
  • Award‑winning learning and development opportunities
  • GP online – a service providing around‑the‑clock GP consultation via an interactive app (available to you and your children under 16)
  • Colleague discounts – access to over 1,600 high‑street discounts
  • Wellbeing – free access to an independent and confidential Employee Assistance Programme
  • Colleague recognition schemes such as Kindness in Care and Long Service Awards
  • A refer‑a‑friend scheme of up to £1,000 per referral, depending on the role
Working Hours

The position requires working days, nights and weekends on a rota basis.
